Tour de Surakarta (TdS) is an annual cycling event organized by Solo Cycling Community (SCC) since 2022, in the spirit of "from the community, for the community". SCC was founded in 2009 and is a home for cyclists across the Solo region.
The concept is sport tourism: riders enjoy the history-rich heart of Surakarta, then climb the slopes of Mount Lawu in Karanganyar with tea gardens and forest views. Along the way, riders are welcomed with local Solo cuisine at the rest stops.
