The route starts at Surakarta City Hall and passes Keraton Surakarta, Pasar Klewer, Jembatan Keris, and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. From the city, riders head east into Karanganyar via Gondang Reservoir, Batu Jamus, Kemuning Market, the Ngargoyoso forest, and the Kemuning tea gardens.
The Regular track covers about 104 - 105 km with roughly 1,100 m of climbing. The Race track covers 110 km with 1,400 - 1,500 m of climbing and an 18 km KOM segment. The two tracks split at the first pit stop and meet again at the second.
